Chrysi Papadeli I Architect

Chrysi is chartered Architect (Greece) with multidisciplinary background in architecture and design in Ireland and in Greece and award-winning projects in architectural competitions. She has 15 years’ work experience as an architect in Greece in both the private and public sector. As a free-lance architect in Greece, she was involved in many residential and commercial projects including interior design as well as open urban spaces projects. As an architect in the Greek Ministry of Environment, Chrysi gained experience in the regulatory aspects of urban planning, environmental and sustainable design. Chrysi has been working in Ireland since 2017 and was involved in residential, data centres and retail projects. Her most recent project as a member of the architectural design team of JCA Architects (2019-2022) was the Reinstatement of the Bank Buildings for a retail shop for PRIMARK, a significant landmark in Belfast. Chrysi has a strong academic background in Greece. She holds a five-year Diploma Degree in “Architectural Engineering” (Honours, 1999) and a MSc Degree in “Architectural Design” (Distinction, 2004) both from the National Technical University of Athens. She also holds a MSc Degree in “Environmental Design of Cities and buildings” (Honours, 2012) from the Hellenic Open University. Living in Ireland since 2012, Chrysi attended courses such as the Passive House Building Envelope and Building Services (best marks ever achieved in Ireland at the time, 2015) and is a certified Passive House Designer (2016). She also holds a QQI Level 6 Major Award in Architectural Technology and Design in Building Information Modelling with Project Management (Distinction, CDCFE, 2017). Chrysi is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE-TCG), Pan-Hellenic Union of Architects (SADAS-PEA), International Passive House Association (iPHA) and Passive House Association of Ireland (PHAI). |
