Barnhall Meadows by Glenveagh Homes is situated at the historic Wonderful Barn site in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. Phase 1 is currently under construction with 203 dwelling and creche, including of a mixture of large architecturally designed luxury 3 & 4 bedroom homes, and duplex units. In total the scheme consists of 480 residential dwellings.

A development with luxury house builder Jamie Moran Homes, South Mews is located in the leafy Kenilworth Road. An exciting mews project with no expense spared, AKM provided a full range of Architectural, Engineering and Assigned Certifier Services.
A geometrically designed house extending over 200 square metres, with open plan living, 4 bedrooms and private open space and off-street parking. Finished to a very high specification, the interior includes a feature flatplate concrete stair. sunken living room, ribbon windows and framless glass corners to the rear, creating a seamless connection between the inside and outside. The exterior finish combines a beautiful blend of linear handmade brick by Peterson, Wicklow granite and external modern render. Grant of Permission obtained form Wicklow County Council for Harmony Timber Solutions new manufacturing facility, in Arklow, Co. Wicklow. The development will consist of a Detached 2 storey office building (249m2), detached timber factory building with canteen, wcs and 1st floor office (1432m2) & detached timber factory building with mezzanine office / wcs / canteen (1476m2). Site layout to include 3 No. Yard area’s, 30 no. car parking spaces, 20 no. cycle spaces, waste water treatment system and associated site works.
AKM Design provided all Architectural, Engineering and Town Planning services for this application. We look forward to obtaining the final Grant of Permission and commencing with the project on site. Planning Decision: Grant Permission Limonar, Highfield, Mullingar, now complete with Lemongrove Properties. AKM provide Assigned Certifier to Glenveigh Properties for their luxury development at Shrewsbury Road, Dublin 4. The project is due for completion Mid-2019
AKM obtain planning permission from South Dublin County Council for a two storey detached house, three bedroom with attic study and rooflights to rear, PV panels to front roof, new vehicular access and car parking in front garden and associated works.
AKM obtain planning permission from South Dublin County Council for the demolition of a double garage and construction of an A rated, energy efficient 2 storey, detached (3 bed) dwelling, vehicular & pedestrian entrance and all associated site works.
AKM obtain Permission from Dublin City Council (under 2237/15) for 24 no. dwellings comprising 10 no. terraced 3 storey dwellings and 14 no. apartments comprising (Building 1) Three storey apartment building comprising 6 x 2 bed apartments with balconies provided to the front and rear elevations of all apartments. (Building 2) Four storeys apartment building comprising 4 x 1 bed apartments at ground floor with private open space to the rear and 4 x 2 bed apartments on the first and second floor with storage space at third floor/attic level and terraces provided to the rear elevation. 30 no. car parking spaces and 25 no. bicycle parking spaces, bin storage and associated site works. The development has commenced. This permission seeks alterations to building 1 to provide an internal lift serving all floors and relocation of the stairs. The alterations require revised layouts to 1 no. apartment on each floor and will slightly increase the footprint and overall height of the building as permitted.
AKM obtain permission from South Dublin County Council for rear and side extension with the rear extension comprising of a one bed family flat with internal courtyard connecting to main house, new windows to ground and first floor, one roof light and relocation of main entrance, internal alterations and all associated site works.
