Jong has over 25 years experience working in the architectural and built environment in Ireland, UK and Australia. Using planning experience built up while working as a town planner with Dublin City Council and South Dublin County Council, he has acted as lead town planner for numerous large-scale development projects. He is currently involved in several large residential developments including large scale housing developments at Barnhall Meadows, Belin Woods, Greyabbey and Walkers Gate and other commercial and industrial projects throughout the country. He has a vast array of experience in planning large residential schemes and working on projects from initial preplanning concept and design through to completion on site. He is a housing expert and is a board member of several companies including Approved Housing Bodies advising on planning matters such as Design Standards for New Apartments. He is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI) and has prepared numerous statutory Framework Plans, Local Area Plans and County Development Plans and is a registered town planning lobbyist. He undertaken professional training in Health and Safety and has acted as Project Supervisor Design Stage. |
