PLANNING
We offer a broad range of Planning Services. We can provide pre-planning, Planning Compliance, Planning Appeals and Development Plan advocacy. We specialise in providing Design Team co-ordination throughout the Planning and Construction Stages. Our Town Planners are professionally qualified corporate members of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI).

CIVIL ENGINEERING
We have extensive experience in SUDS techniques including Rainwater Harvesting, Design, Percolation Testing, Storm Water Modelling and Attenuation Design. Our Engineers are members of Engineers Ireland and the Institute of Structural Engineers.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
We provide full architectural services from Concept and Feasibility to Developed Design, Detailed Tender packages, On-site Supervision and Design Team co-ordination. We have designed a wide variety of projects across all sectors. Our Architects, Architectural Technologists & Building Surveyors are members of The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists & The Chartered Association of Building Engineers and the RIAI
​BUILDING SURVEYING
AKM carry out Structural Surveys & Dilapadation Survey on residential, commercial, office, retail and industrial buildings. Our Building Surveyors & Chartered Engineers are registered on the SCSI Register of Building Surveyors and IEI Register of Chartered Engineers.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
We can develop innovative structural solutions without compromising architectural design. We offer the most cost effective design with a consideration to the build-ability of the project and we can offer a high level of expertise in concrete, steel design, masonry and timber with fresh ideas to enable the project to run efficiently. Our Engineers are members of Engineers Ireland and the Institute of Structural Engineers.​
​CERTIFICATION & MAPPING
AKM can provide full Legal Mapping services for the registration and sale of property. We are familiar with the Property Registration Authority of Ireland rules and regulations. We have an OSI license and can provide digital mapping. We pride ourselves in a fast turnaround time and have experience of Court Work, Affidavits, Certified Signing of Declaration of Identity and other legal documents in relation to property matters.
FIRE CERT & DISABILITY ACCESS CERT APPLICATIONS
AKM Design can prepare and advise clients in relation to Fire Safety Certificates and Disability Access Certificates. We have worked on some of the largest distillery projects in the State and various hotel, offices, museums restaurants, protected structures and multi-unit residential schemes.

ASSIGNED CERTIFIER
We can inspect, co-ordinate and certify building works act as the Assigned Certifier for residential and commercial projects. We are currently acting as the Assigned Certifiers & Design Certifiers for over 1000 residential units, and several commercial developments. Our Assigned Certifiers are registered on the SCSI and IEI Registers.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT
AKM can prepare EIA Reports and co-ordinate consultants. We have worked on some of the largest projects in the State and have experience in successfully leading complex projects. We have professional relationships with consultants to provide archaeology, ecology, climate, geology, noise, landscape architecture, traffic and waste and construction management advice.
